Daffodil friends:
ADS’s own Jackie Turbidy is the winner of this year’s art contest at Ironstone Vineyards, and thus her painting will provide the image for this year’s annual Daffodil Poster. This is a significant honor. Congratulations, Jackie! She says that Murphys and Ironstone are “daffodil heaven”. Some outtakes below from her message to me this morning.

…… Murphys is fascinating, friendly and beautiful to me. I can see why Bob has been so passionate about having (the convention) here at Ironstone. The owners, Gail and John Kautz …. are terrific people. Their place is daffodil heaven. Kudos to the California Daffodil Society-and the show hasn’t even started yet!…I spent the day in Yosemite. Oh WOW!
