server status

I decided to remotely shut the server down earlier so it will be down when I arrive in the San Francisco Data Center. That will save me a step which is always desirable when you work in a cold breezy data center or computer room.
I will shutdown daffnet, daffseek, the ads web sites and all mail when I do that, but it is necessary.
Will do the shutdown in about one-half hour and the server will be down until 6 to 8pm PST.
