We had a little 3.6 earthquake under our house in Gaithersburg/Germantown, MD this morning at 5:04 am only minutes after we woke up. The whole house was shaking for a couple minutes. I could hear glass rattling. Quiet honestly, we are in the flight path of BWI airport and we have felt worse rumbles from airplanes. However, this one sounded totally different but did seem to travel from the east to the west.
No damage that I know of, except for the news media, radio/TV journalist breaking there voice boxes to outdo the next station in sensationalizing of the “earthquake.”
