California Daffnetters, My ace digger, planter, do everything guy is headed to the San Francisco area to visit relatives for the first time ever. He wanted to bring along as gifts some bulbs from where he works, and of course will be bringing some daffodils. He also wanted to bring along something he thought they did not have, and thought some of our Colchicums and/or Camassias might interest them. My question is, do either of these grow in the San Fran area? The few references I have looked at suggest that they are only possible through USDA hardiness zone 8. David Burdick Pittsfield MA
