We don’t have the large trade displays at our shows that are common overseas .
They are very professionally staged and great public attractions.
Because the Orchid show was open to the public from Thurs, Fri < Sat and Sun and
the N I Nat was only Sat and Sunday , we had to stage a public display for the
first two days.
We put up a tiered display of about 80 vases of single varieties, staged to give the
public a good view but keep them out of the daff arena until judging on Saturday morning.
It worked well; on Saturday the stand was transformed into the Premier stand and the 80 +
vases were lined up on the now redundant staging tables.
The public certainly liked the large , named display as well as the exhibition daffs .
Cheers John .
