Can anyone tell me what might be making these holes in the garden? They’re various sizes, and much too symmetrical to be a squirrel. Earlier this summer, there were some brown and yellow hornets that were burrowing into the ground, and actually bringing soil out of their holes. This is different. Something just going for a “dust bath” in the dry weather? There are about a dozen or so holes.
