Midwest Regional Fall Meeting of the American Daffodil Society

Hello Everyone..
Just a little note to cover the Midwest regional meeting of the ADS.
The meeting was held at the Robbins-Hunter Museum in central Granville Ohio. Dan Bellinger, our RVP presided over the meeting and put on quite a good event.
The Museum venue was not free of charge and SWODS took up the challenge to compensate so that the details and complications of donations could be avoided.
The Itinerary began with the individual reports from each of the local societies in the Midwest followed by a report by Dan Bellinger, then a slide show from Dan quoting some of the recent introductions by Dr John Reed including some PowerPoint photos of the great grand parents, grand parents & Parents. It was quite a good program.

this was  followed by a panel of hybridizers quoting their long term goals in breeding and some detail about how they reach those goals. Donna Dietsch and myself (Modestly) gave some examples.
After Lunch, Mary Lou Gripshover gave a talk on developments in miniatures which was quite entertaining.

Mary Lou also brought one of Harold Koopowitz seedlings in bloom from Miniatus that had quite good form!. A photo is attached.

a good time held by all

Tom
