Texas Daffodil meeting

Rod Armstrong presented a program on growing daffodils in containers for our November meeting.
There was another exchange of daffodil bulbs between the members.
Members and visitors were given bulbs, pots and soil and had expert help with planting a container with daffodil bulbs.
The club donated another batch of bulbs to one of the teachers at a local middle school for their on going project to teach the children how to plant daffodils, with the extra bulbs going to some of the older children to take home and plant with their parents, grand parents or guardians. They are going to enlist the help of the Texas Master Gardeners when they prepare the flower beds for the bulbs.
There were actually 23 members and visitors at the meeting with a few folks apparently hiding from the photographer:-)) Keith Kridler Mt. Pleasant, Texas
