Calendar note

The National Convention is March 10th through 13th in Jackson, Mississippi. And….a quick check of my calendar indicates that MARDI GRAS is two days before, March 8.

 

Is anyone planning to travel early and partake in any festivities?

 

New Orleans has the biggest parades and celebrations, but from my years in Houston I learned that Galveston and especially Mobile have sizeable celebrations, and that virtually the entire state of Louisiana celebrates on Mardi Gras day.

  2. Look for another article about the Mississippi Convention in your December Journal. The registration form with information on the hotel, etc., will also be included. We hope to see many of y’all there!
