very sad news

Friends, it is my saddest duty to advise you of the death of longtime ADS member, Dorothy Sensibaugh, of Jessup, MD.  Dorothy died DEC 1st, of complications from recently discovered cancer.  She is survived by her three children, Bernie and Carl Sensibaugh, and her daughter Sue Masciarelli.  There are also two granddaughters, Sophia Mascirelli, and Sarah Sensibaugh (both ADS youth members).  Expressions of sympathy may be sent to:  7550 Wigley Ave, Jessup, MD  20794.  Visitation at Gary Kaufman Funeral Home, Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elk Ridge, MD 21075, 410/796-8024, will be held SAT DEC 4th 5-8P, SUN DEC 5th  3-5P, and 7-9P.  The funeral will be held at 10A at St John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6400 Waterloo Rd, Columbia MD  21045 on MON DEC 6th.  Refreshments will be served at the church, following interment at Meadowridge Memorial Park.  The family’s memorial wishes are contributions to the National Arboretum, or to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital.  I suggest you verify all times, locations, and information by viewing an obituary.

Dorothy joined ADS in 1988 and was an Accredited Judge.  She had served ADS, the Middle Atlantic Region of ADS, The Maryland Daffodil Society, and the Washington Daffodil Society.  I’m sure that many can expand on her service.

Dorothy’s family has sent word that all her daffodils will be planted, and they intend to honor her memory with her daffodils.

Sorrowfully,

Jaydee Atkins Ager
