Wow! I’ve planted the “Tommies” twice in Minnesota – they’re supposedly hardy here according to some catalogs – without any luck at all! I loved them in my yard in Maryland – they seeded everywhere in the grass, just like the ones in the second photo. What am I doing wrong? Ethel Smith in MN where it’s back in the 20’s again with a storm on the way. It was sure nice to have 40’s for three days in a row!
