All small bulbs after serving as pot plants in the first year get ‘dumped’ out in this area or another similar area in the front lawn where we allow the grass to grow – colour continues for several weeks. Small daffodils are yet to appear.. The predominant weed is the ineradicatable Celandine – but I’ve even got to like their shiny golden flowers – hate had to give in, they persisted!
