Here in Starkville, MS we were very lucky. Tornados went north and south of us. Severe damage to the west of us (about 15 miles) on Tuesday and about 80 miles east of us on Wed.(Tuscaloosa). Needless to say, lots of damage north and south. We thank God for our safety and pray for those less fortunate. Jack Hollister

I’m glad that Celia is safe. I hope some of the other southerners will reply too.
My only remaining Aunt lives in Ft Payne Alabama with one of her Daughters & her Husband plus a grand daughter. There are lots of her other family members who live in that area including grand children and great grand children. They are all safe, BUT without power and it’s not expected to be restored for another week.

One of my cousins sent me a text message with a photo of a tornado that passed them by. It must have been incredibly scary!. They lost friends in this ugliness and some other friends are badly hurt.

We should have good thoughts and prayers for all the people and families affected.

Tom
