Daffodil Friends, it is with great sorrow that I notify you of the death of Betty Smith, of Stevenson, MD. Her niece, Anne Donnell Smith, has notified me that “Aunt Betty” died during the night of MAY 20th. Most of us called her “Aunt Betty”, and enjoyed seeing her at Conventions in the Middle Atlantic Region. Betty Smith served as the Middle Atlantic Region RVP 1991-1994. She joined ADS in 1967, was an Accredited Judge. “Aunt Betty” was an ADS Life Member. To know “Aunt Betty” was to love her. She was a sweetheart.
For those of you on Bodnet, that are not on Daffnet, please be advised of the recent death of ADS member, George Bragdon, of VA. ADS member, Ross Hotchkiss, posted the notice on Daffnet. The obituary for George is attached. We extend our sympathies to Patty, and all of the Bragdon family, at this very sad time. May they know strength and peace in the days ahead.
