Many ADS members will remember Sandy and Mary McCabe from their several Convention visits when they were our travelling companions. . We were shocked to learn this morning that Mary died last night after a brief illness. Mary had presented a Cup for a class of pink daffodils which was presented at this years Belfast show for the first time, less than a month ago. Mary was unable to attend but her daughter Elizabeth turned up to take photos of the winning exhibit and the Cup. Sandy died 4 years ago.
Betty and I have lost really good friends and we remember with gratitude the wonderful times we had, the many miles travelled together, the myriad of laughs and numerous ‘wee goldies’ we shared over the past 37 years.
Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to Elizabeth and Louise.
