When out in the patch today I noticed that a seed pod was ready to collect –
Renovator x Gold Touch. This is the earliest ever) – it made me check the
other seed pods but all are still green. Given the lateness of the season I
wasn’t expecting anything yet and this well ahead of the “normal” time. ( I
don’t usually get seeds until November Nonetheless I now have 15 shiny black
seeds in storage – all prospective champs in 4 – 5 years time!
