South Island Show again

Luminosity was Premier Div 2- Reverse and is a newly registered variety from John Hunter which looks as if it will have a good future. It was shown by Amateur North Island grower Brian McKenzie who has done very well at the shows this year.

Our little 2Y-Y McQ OC407 is an Intermediate sized flower, about 75mm. It was Premier Seedling. The Seedling Section at the NDS Shows is limited to those seedlings which have flowered not prior to 2009. I do hope it remains small enough to stay an Intermediate.

A good example of Kiwi Solstice was Premier 4Y for Aaron Russ.

Kind regards, Denise.

  1. Denise,
Is there any chance you would be willing to share the pedigree of that
lovely little 2Y-Y intermediate? It has such a distinct looking cup, and
seems to have little or no cyclamineus in the bloodline as so many of the
    2Y-Y intermediates do.
