My folks were one of the early recipients of all of Bill’s creations, as a trial to see if they’d work in the soggy South.
So these were sent way way long ago, and are just all in a “lump.” Most show Chinese Sacred Lily as parentage (or, those are the only ones that’ve survived over the years).
His later creations are in a separate lump, and you can see the evolution of his forms. Of that crew, the yellows bloom first, then the white petaled ones. They are all running late this year due to the drought.
Now, of course, he’s stuck real names on ’em and asks for real money too… :)
