More of Harold’s blooming in Ohio

In the summer of 2008, Harold sent me 3 bulbs of his cross N. tazetta aureus x N. miniatus, each a different clone. I planted them in one pot, and they have bloomed here each autumn. They’re a little later this year; usually they’ve bloomed in mid-October. They are multiplying nicely, as you’ll see in the photos. There’s a photo of the pot taken two days ago. You can see there are 3 bloom stems on one, two on another, and only one on the third. I also put the op seed in the same pot, and you can see thin seedling foliage.

The other photos are of the individual blooms.

Thanks, Harold!

  1. Mary Lou…………..have you had Harold’s bulbs in your garage, or have they been outside? Ours that we put in pots bloomed so well last year, but so far we have seen none. Maybe ours are late, too.
