A volunteer

I found this flowering last week in an old pot of N. elegans. The
incurved rim of the corona suggests that N. elegans is indeed one
parent but what was the other. Only thing I can think is that there
is a pot of N. canariensis (a small paperwhite) nearby and some bee
did the work. Whatever it is a delightful little surprise. Flowers
are 28 mm in diameter on a 10 cm stem.

  1. Volunteers are usually welcome, especially when they’re as nice as this one!
