Friends, we have learned of the death of Dick Elwood, husband of ADS member, Liz Ellwood. Many of you knew Dick as he often accompanied Liz to ADS conventions. We extend our sympathy to Liz at this very
difficult time.

Sam was a good friend and always had a smile on his face. It was on the
encouragement of Sam and Evelyn that Fran and I started the Northeast North
Carolina Daffodil Society. Our Novice Best Bloom award is named in that
honor. Fran and I send our thoughts and prayers to Evelyn.
