Approaching peak bloom today, ‘Yuletide’, 10W-W hybrid bulbocodium of mine, started opening two days before Christmas and will continue for at least two more weeks. This has become a personal favorite here as it thrives both in the greenhouses as well as outdoors. When grown inside in a pot, this hybrid is always in bloom around Christmas and New Years. Hence the name!
High bud count and floriferous. Note the many buds yet to open. I think this cultivar makes a terrific pot or pan. This pot will grace our dinner table on New Year’s Eve.
