Blooming this morning

Daffodil Friends,

A lovely little fellow is blooming today. About 62mm. in diameter.
‘Magic Moment’ x (‘Actaea’ x viridiflorus). A sibling will open soon
– with orange/red in the cup.

  1. Wow!  Bob, this is really a beauty.  Too large to be a miniature, I think, but a
    great intermediate sized one.  Perhaps you can breed with it.  Maybe too early
    for shows unless you can get to one that is earlier in your season.  I just want
    to show it off.  Magic Moment,? Hmmm.  Show us the red cupped one when it
    blooms.

    Very cute! And enticing us to the season here where we have no snow where there should be and no sign of greenery either.

    I am preparing a new slide show for my visits to local garden clubs, based on sub-themes of “What’s New in Daffodils?”. I’m using this one in the section, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green.’
