Bulbo. species

Two Bulbocodium Section species.
N. tenuifolius as the name implies has very fine foliage and is a neat small plant of deepest gold. It grows in rocky crevices in southern Spain.

N. akersianus ( Name not yet validated)is the biggest and boldest bulbocodium I’ve seen. It grows in very wet rushy meadows in Galicia, Northern Spain and is a tetraploid. The stem can grow to 18″ or more both in the wild and in captivity. The petals have beautiful green markings that are fairly stable. It is a fine breeder both as seed and pollen parent.
