not daffodils — helleborus

The weather has been mild–until today. Quite a few hellebores are beginning to bloom. But it’s about 15*F now, with the wind howling, so I don’t know what they might look like tomorrow. Some snow is predicted, which will be good if it covers the daffodil foliage.

    Hi Mary Lou,

    We’ve got New Year to the old Gregorian calendar. And also this winter,
    though snow, but temperatures around 0 Celsius.
    In the snow flowers Helleborus niger var maximus.
