Bereavement notification – Douglas Charles Warr

Dear Friends
I have to inform you that Mr Douglas Charles Warr very sadly past away at the Milton Keynes Hospital yesterday after a long battle trying  to recover from a stroke in November. He was a very keen an able daffodil grower showing at the Mid Southern daffodil group, Wisley, Warwick as well as many local shows in the Buckingham area. A very go supporter of Aston Clinton Horticultural Society donating trophies and money for the staging also a very keen judge and gave our group talks on staging and growing always willing to pass on his knowledge of growing and exhibiting to others. He was also very good chrysanthemum grower and a long time member of the National Chrysanthemum Society Our condolence go out to his son Raymond Warr.

There will be a Funeral Service at Steeple Claydon Church on Wednesday 22 February at 2.00pm should you like to attend He will be very sadly missed by all his friend and I for one have lost a very good mentor and friend, but have learned so much from such a good friend.

in the daffodil circles.
