Dear All, I’m a bit late with this as the show was last Saturday but hope to catch up with my daffodil season as it is as we go! The weather in the UK has been some what warm at we were warmer than those in Europe. So the season may like many be short again this year! I won’t mention “Global Warming”! This week however we are back to normal with could winds and the promise of snow in some parts! Catforth Show was well attended with 180 entries, and in excess of 400 blooms. Organiser Tom Alty was overjoyed with the turnout as the show was dedicated to the memory of his wife Eileen who passed away last year and a total of £350 was raised for Cancer Research UK, well done Tom.
