new introductions information

That would be very helpful information, Debbie. I've had mixed experience with varieties, too.
Some multiply like crazy, others slowly and others disappear completely after a few years.
I also grow daffodils by the thousands for the pleasure of our family and friends rather than to show or breed.

  1. I do not know who would be in charge of this
I know that sometimes I have very different
results from different plantings of the same
cultivar- I noted today that only one of my
bulbs of badbury rings lived – I was truly surprised-
I expectedI would lose them all…

  2. I have no idea if anyone needs to be in charge, just suggesting the info sharing might be welcome. For example, the kind of experience you mention suggests more variability for those cultivars, doesn’t it?
