Daffnet Olympic Competition Result

Dear All
The Olympics events have finished and the medals have been counted
So it’s time to announce our winner.
Team GB won a total of 

65 medals

    Gold   = 29

    Silver  = 17

   Bronze = 19

There were two entries who predicted 65 medals
So I have had to pick the entry of who’s individual medals were nearest Team GB’s totals, our winner was nearest on two of the three with

GOLD 22 – SILVER 22 – BRONZE 21 = 65

    We are travelling through the centre of Australia and came into a small town on the edge of the Strestecki Desert  with a population of 129 and the first thing I saw was this patch of daffodils. This area receives very little rain but is often inundated with flood water.
    Home has had 3 falls of snow while we have been away. The daffs started flowering 3 weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing what is out when I arrive home.
