Poet seedlings.

This was the brighter of the two and Wilf,s preference. A slightly bigger flower and certainly a brighter rim.

Also a lot of buds in the selected seedling bed. Weather permitting, probably a collection entry and a few singles for the big Hamilton show and possibly a few early locals shows. Surely they will last until Dunedin — Poets are never finished that early, — but this is a crazy season. Usually only starting in time for the S. I. National.
