A couple of days ago I decided to tidy the pots of miniatures and species that have been neglected since early summer. I was surprised to find a bulbocodium type in flower. (only one flower). Unfortunately the label had faded and only read bulbo— where it was below soil level. However the little flower cheered me up and I returned to planting standard bulbs with renewed energy.
