N. cantabricus from Spain x Emerald Sea

This is one of six seedlings which flowered till now from this cross in the greenhouse. It is seen in the pictures that the green colour diminishes a little when the flower is open for a longer time. The blossom has a diameter of 55 mm and the stem is 27 cm high. This seedling is infertile but five of the six generate some fertile unreduced pollen which is extraordinary to my experience for triploid plants with three different chromosome sets: One of Sea Dream, one of N. viridiflorus and one of N. cantabricus.
