The first seedling of (( Pontresina x ( Edna Earl x Rashee )) x N. viridiflorus flowers in the greenhouse. I think in the next year it will have more than one flower per stem. The pollen is highly fertile, as expected. It can be used successful for example on N. cantabricus from Spain, N. hedraeanthus, N. triandrus, N. cyclamineus, fertile jonquilla hybrids and standard daffodils with green in the cup; the same crosses which can made with Emerald Sea from John Hunter.
Very stunning. Would be really interested to see it crossed with a n. cyclamineus. Do like the green coming through.
