2013 Fortuna Show – Standard Multiple-Cultivar Awards

Following the order in the show report form, I start with the Historic Collection of 5. The exhibitor of the winning entry was yours truly. The flowers in the collection are – Back: ‘Verger’ 3W-R (1930), ‘Ramillies’ 2Y-O (1937), ‘Crenver’ 3W-GYR (1927); Front: ‘Daphne’ 4W-W (1914), ‘Cantatrice’ 1W-W (1936).

The Red-White-Blue Ribbon is for the best collection of 5 American-bred standard daffodils.  Exhibitor of the winning collection was Bob Spotts. The flowers are – Back: 13-3-62 2W-GYO, 13-3-51 4Y-Y, 13-3-60 2Y-Y; Front: ‘Mesa Verde’ 12G-GGY (Spotts), ‘Anasazi’ 3WWG-GWW (Spotts).

The Purple Ribbon is for the best collection of 5 standards, excluding the Historic Collection.  Exhibitors of the winner were Ben Blake and Nancy Tackett. It was a division 7 collection with – Back: ‘Fertile Plains’ 7YYW-Y, ‘Peach Delight’ 7W-WWP, Duncan 05/134 7Y-Y; Front: ‘Walton’ 7Y-YOO, ‘Kokopelli’ 7Y-Y.
