This is a seedling Selection of mine from a cross made by the late Ed Zinkowski. I carry it under Z96-4-15 which is: N. obesus x N. b.ssp. praecox. This Selection has the prostrate, sinuous foliage, of N. obsesus as well as the “fleshy stem” called for by Alec Gray. It has the primrose colored, soft yellow flowers of N. b. ssp. praecox. It flowers much earlier than its N. obsesus parent.
The white string around the stem is from a breeding tag.
