Announcing the ADS Dafflibrary

ADS has been working on a project to scan materials in the ADS library for several years.  I am  happy to say that today a website is a reality.  Thanks to Nancy and Ben for their technical expertise, ADS now has a library website, www.dafflibrary.org .  There are many items posted–catalogs, scientific publications, historical literature, ADS literature from the earliest days, newspaper clippings, and many of the links from daffodilusa.org.  We are not finished!!  Many more items will be scanned and posted, as quickly as possible.  We hope you will visit the site, and please let us know if there are ways we can make it more “user friendly” for you.

  1. And did Mary Lou mention that you can read ADS Journals from Sept. 1964 through Dec. 2007?  Look under ADS Pubs and you will find the Journals, Bulletins, Yearbooks–and ADS Pubs is just one of the categories in the Library.  What an amazing resource!  Huge thanks to Mary Lou for all the time you’ve spent scanning so many documents and to Nancy and Ben for the excellent website!

  2. What once sounded like an impossible dream is now an enticing reality, thanks to many months of hard work by Mary Lou, working with the technical magic of Ben and Nancy. Thanks for having a vision of what could be and then doing all the hard work to make it all possible.

  3. For the past 5 years, Mary Lou devoted her time and energy to scanning and converting documents, journals, catalogs and historic publications into a format that people could easily access and use.

Mary Lou’s vision, patience and perseverance is what has made DaffLibrary a reality today and a powerful daffodil resource for everyone to enjoy well into the future.

    Thank you Mary Lou!
