Split corona minis always seem to draw attention.
This flower is bred from an 11aW-P seedling of the Havens with Elka. A lot of splits emerged. This is one with the flattest perianth but the tiny corona is not all that uniform. If it opens in cold weather it can have a pink flush. The flowers open yellow but after a few days turn into bicolors. I may register it next year as the stock is slowly building up.
Miniature doubles are very rare. Here is an unusual one from Viennese Waltz by N. dubius. It is a quite small flower with what Jason calls a “stuffed” cup like the Viennese Waltz parent. It also has a stigma and may be fertile.
Pentire by N. assoanus made a delightful division 11 with a large flat corona. I was hoping for a yellow-red split but really cannot complain. It is a sibling of the smoothest of the flowers displayed yesterday.

Harold,
Like all three! The ‘Pentire’ x N. assoanus is really, really nice. Congrats!
