Barco NC Show

From Fran’s Facebook:  The Northeastern North Carolina Daffodil Show was held on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Again…guests from other areas marveled about the Extension Center and its’ facilities. Thanks to ALL who helped make this a pleasant event. The third Judging School, Pizza night for exhibitors, and the show itself. Though a bit smaller due to the weather, but enjoyed by those who exhibited and attended. This would not be possible if not for all the Currituck Volunteer Master Gardeners and the exhibitors from all-over. I DO believe that the “FOOD” factor and the Southern Hospitality helped immensely. Pictures later.  Again…Thanks to the Teachers, Students, and Judges who came from afar to help us make this year a wonderful event.  My gratitude:  Fran Higgins

I will post the show report and pictures later for BARCO.  I can tell you now that we had 710 daffodils and 315 exhibits.  Of course I was the Piggy Winner with 26 blue ribbons, in addition to holding ADS Judging School III the day prior.  So you see I’m tired and we are having an open garden today and that really crimps my time.  I did down load the pictures and I did get some good shots.  I’m glad that I upgraded from a Sony to a Cannon Rebel T3i  All I have to do now is learn to use it. :-)
