We had a nice show this weekend. I heard that there were in excess of 500 stems, so I went back and counted how many I entered (picked everything that still had 6 petals) many of my div 6′s were weather pruned! and I counted 59 stems that I entered from my fields including 4 stems of pseudonarcissus and 2 of jonquilla. I am so happy I “tried to find” a few southerners to help us out with flowers- of course i had not figured out daffnet( defective operator)- yet – but I also almost missed the show, just today I was able to check our club’s site (bad computer)- I did not expect judging on friday…
A big thank you to those st louis people who actually did find some southern growers to give us a show this year and congratulations to all of the exhibitors! from a computer troglodite…
