I love DaffSeek but one thing that is I would like to filter out are flowers that are extinct? How many in the data base may have been created but are now gone?

Those of us who maintain information for DaffSeek would also like to know which daffodils are extinct. Out of the 23,000 daffodils listed in DaffSeek today, there is only a handful of confirmed extinct daffodils and these are annotated in the comments field as “Believed to be extinct.” The source of this information was either the hybridizer or a historian.
One could use as a rule of thumb that if there is no recent photograph of a daffodil in DaffSeek, you can consider this daffodil unavailable and possibly extinct.
If anyone knows of extinct daffodils, we would welcome an email with the information.
