Here are two photos of V07-5-2 a Miniature 1Y-Y measuring 34mm in diameter. It is from a cross of: {[Camborne x (Xana x Candlepower)] x Roundita}. It is a very much improved Miniature as far as width and overlap of the perianth. The substance is still only average with this clone but far better than many named Miniatures.
The improved width is undoubtedly from Dr. Leone Low’s really excellent and much admired ‘Roundita’. I am seeing a lot of improved width by using ‘Roundita’ as a parent either way and am now flowering out a number of different crosses. I also see improvement in the trumpet balance and form via the ‘Camborne’ parent.
