A. D. S. Silver Medal Awarded To Jeanie Driver

The American Daffodil Society awards its highest honor to Jeanie Driver. The A. D. S. Silver Medal is awarded for meritorious service to the Society. It is not granted every year.

Jeanie has been a great ambassador for daffodils and the A. D. S.  She has shared her enthusiasm and knowledge about daffodils both locally and nationally.

With her husband and partner in all things, the much missed Frank Driver, Jeanie formed Bonnie Brae Gardens to provide high quality, little known offerings, to daffodil enthusiasts worldwide. Jeanie and Frank were mentored and encouraged in this endeavor by the late Murray Evans. Bonnie Brae Gardens was the first marketer in the world of the then unknown category of Intermediate Daffodils.

She was an early advocate for intermediate daffodils. Her love of daffodils, hard work, and dedication were instrumental in the creation of the A. D. S. designation for Intermediate Daffodils. She has served ADS as a Regional Director, as Intermediates Chairman, and as an Accredited Judge. Her fabulous garden has been featured on two tours at A. D. S. National Conventions. It is with great pleasure that  Honors Committee and President Becky Fox Matthews awarded the  A. D. S.  Silver Medal to Jeanie Driver.
