Attached is a photo of ‘Fiona Jean’ 7 Y-GYY George Morrill (1973), supposedly a season 3 daffodil. However, here it is in bloom at the end of the season in Central Mississippi. This has been a great season in Clinton, MS . . . long, cool, and lots of rain. ‘Fiona Jean’ is not a show flower as the perianth segments are not smooth and the color is a light yellow instead of a jonquilla yellow. Nonetheless, ‘Fiona Jean’ has turned out to be a nice way to end my daffodil season.
