Minnesota show needs your blooms

The Daffodil Society of Minnesota is asking those who live in Wisconsin, northern Illinois, and northern Iowa to consider bringing your late blooms to our show on May 18-19 (May 17 set up and early staging).  We pushed back our show by 2 weeks, but even with that we’ll probably be a little thin.  If you think you might have something to contribute, contact us at title=.  For me, I put out my daffodil flag today, when Little Gem bloomed in my cold frame – and Little Beauty is about to pop.  But standards won’t be blooming for quite some time – many haven’t even broken ground yet.  We’ve had two days of 70’s, but in a few days it’s changing and we’ll be in the 40’s and low 50’s for the next 5-6 days.  Sigh…..  Margaret Macneale

  1. I would bet that you will probably be pleasantly surprised at how well you show comes together.

There is even a ‘possibility’ that there could be some blooms there from southern Indiana.

Sue…oh…by the way…your contact link doesn’t work for me in your post above.

  2. Sorry you had problems with the email link, Sue.  It is correct – I just verified it again.  Margaret Macneale
