Some Early flowers in N Ireland

We have just had the coldest March for about 50 years.  Parts of n Ireland are still under snow but living near the coast I escaped the most of it.  However night temperatures have been mostly -1 0r -2 degrees C here and day temperatures a max of 4 or 5 degrees with chill factor from a bitter east wind.  The daffodils have mostly sat still for the last few weeks And I only had a few of the earliest varieties and some miniatures for our l0cal show (Coleraine).I didn’t get many decent photos at the show as the light was not good and I was pretty busy organising, judges, stewards and totting points.  However I took photos of some of the flowers at home under more controlled conditions.  see below.  Appologies in advance for repeating some taken by Ian.

  1. Lovely photos Derrick. Down in Omagh we are the same. A very slow season. See you at a show soon
