Two daffs from the garden

Strawberry Pie               Dressy Bessie

Here are two late flowers in bloom in middle Tennessee. The first one
is ‘Strawberry Pie’, a John Reed 1997 2 W-R cultivar. I accidentally
snapped its head off the stem. Since there was no photograph of
it on Daffseek I put it in a tiny vase so I could photograph it. The
second photo is of a double-headed bloom on Dressy Bessie, a 1990
2 W-GYO William Pannill variety. I’ve been picking flowers for the
convention for the past week and am looking forward to seeing
everyone who is coming to Columbus to convention!
