The seeds will soon turn pink and what is the best way to produce Crocus seedlings?
As pollen dauber you just can’t stop with daffodils. Last year some crocus sent up ghostly white growth that I let mature and collected a hand full of pink seeds. I forgot to plant until this spring. I planted and still no signs of life. This spring I crossed a few different crocus colors and these white ghostly heads popped up. Two things
Has any one have experience in crossing and producing crocus seedlings/bulbs?
The crocus seed pod appears to have grow underground and then sends up a white shoot with a pod full of seeds. This growing habit is so much different than daffodils. Can anyone tell me about the lifecycle of a crocus?
