N. jonquilla “Early Louisiana” Seed

I have some seed to go if anyone wants them. They are N. jonquilla “Early Louisiana” X Open Pollinated and are early. I have to be honest with you. These are third generation seed, from a few “Early Louisiana” bulbs that I obtained from someone years ago, probably Keith down in East Texas. I still have the original bulbs that I kept separate, and these seeds are from the children of those original “Early Louisiana” bulbs. They are fertile both ways.

They are very likely still true to N. jonquilla “Early Louisiana” as jonquil is a notorious self pollinator. If you are trying to pollinate jonquil with anything else you have to be very careful as the stigma is buried in the antlers and “self-pollination” is most likely what you get.

I have a lot of seed but am only going to divide them into two lots. The first two that send a request and will send me a address to send them to gets the seed.

Please send the request to my personal email and not to daffnet. title= is my email.

Thanks,

Clay
