Wilf’s Mini Tazettas

I was lucky enough to get a few bulbs of some of Wilf Hall’s miniature fertile tazettas. I hope this will give me a boost to producing brighter miniature yellow tazettas. Here is the first to flower, it obviously still thinks it is in New Zealand and does not understand this is the middle of summer. I will probably pollinate the flowers, anyway, and collect pollen, all the while, hoping not to stress the plants out of existence. Not sure if the plants will make seeds under these conditions, but it would be worthwhile trying so I can save a year’s time.  Plan’s are to use N. elegans hybrids to deepen the orange color on Wilf’s tazettas. Wish I had Lawrence Trevanions 8O-Os.
