The Central Daffodil Group held it,s Show in the Community Leisure Center , Palmerston North on a very wet Saturday  21 September .A very good attendance of exhibitors from the wide area we cover had over 500 blooms for Chief Judge Spud Brodgen to consider .The flower standard was good but not exceptional and all growers felt that the heavy overnight rain would benefit the daffs as we had been running a little dry for most of the much warmer than average winter . We all felt that we were flowering about a week to 10 days ahead of an average season and this was right across the wide region .We all agreed that there would be no late late show this season .
